Removing M-14S rear sight...

I got an M-1 Garand rear sight for my Norinco M-14S.

How do I remove the sight on the Norinco. Everything is now loose after I took the windage and elevation knobs off. It seems to be held in place only by the thin sloping metal piece or cover.

Push on the lower flat edge of the sight cover and it will pop up.
