I just got my 10/22 with the Marauder kit in the mail today. I wanted to strip it down to clean and install a larger charging handle. I can't seems for the life of me get that suppressor off the barrel. Does anyone have any tips or the proper way to remove it so I can take the gun down? Thanks in advance

I was thinking the same thing. That thing's on there TIGHT! I was considering making up a "puller" - kind of like a tuning fork with the ends bent over to hook around behind the mock suppressor, and the far end bent up, so I can whack away at it (away from the rifle) with a hammer. I understand that once they've been on & off once or twice, they come off a lot easier.

Was your receiver a royal beeeatch to get into the kit's receiver like mine was? I love how tight everything is when it's assembled (NOTHING on the gun rattles), but I'm not looking forward to disassembling it for servicing! Or, maybe it was just mine that was such a tight fit...

its a super tight fit as well.. its nice and sturdy... nothing rattles.. the dissaembly is what im not looking forward to. With the way the supressor is on and the front hand guard.. doesn't give you much room to whack at it.. i was thinking of making a puller as well..

Glad you posted this as I am not looking forward to takedown, especially getting that mock suppressor off. i agree it is a tight fit which makes it nice and solid but I don't want to damage the rifle trying to take it down. Got some ideas here already. Thanks. :D
