I'm having a heck of a time removing the screw that holds the stock on. I can't get the screw to budge at all. For those that have done it, do you have any tips on how to do it?
Thanks

i think it is a 12mm.

I will confirm this information.

None of my screwdrivers would fit in the stock, so I had to break out the ol 12mm, plus extender. Of course the pistol grip goes on with a screwdriver, so don't put away the screwdriver, and use the fattest blade you have so you don't damage the screw. I figure I'll always put the stock on for transport and storage, just to avoid any potential hassle, so the screw and the bolt are likely to get a fair bit of action.

Having some issues with the Knoxx...

The bolt that is supplied with the Knoxx can't be fully tightened, however I have no way to remove the Knoxx bolt from the stock to replace it with the new bolt I have...

...ugh...!

^cant you just push the bolt all the way in, then grind off some of the tip?

btw i removed my grizzly stock with just a large flat screwdriver - the key is getting one with a large palm swell grip so you have more torque.
but ive gotten troublesome ones out in the past by using a socket+extension+flat socket bit.

Or next time your looking for screw drivers choose one with a square shank.Much easy to add a wrench for that little bit of extra torque.

Similar Question:

How do you loosen, tighten or remove the fixed stock on a Grizzly MAG. I have the 18.5" barrel, went shooting to pop her cherry last weekend and noticed a slight wiggle in the stock once we were done.

Is this similar to the above mentioend procedure. ?

So Josh what you are saying is that when you grab the receiver with one hand and the rear stock with the other you can twist the two.If thats the case you have to pull out the little rubber plugs from the recoil pad unscrew the recoil pad from the rear stock and the get a long screw driver or socket and extension and tighten up the stock bolt.Don't over due it but make sure its tight.

I'd certainly recommend the 12mm socket with extension. I know for me, I'm pretty hamfisted at times, and I can see the screw getting damaged, especially if your screwdriver doesn't have a thick enough blade. I'm certain that a guy with a name like Millwright not only has the right tools, and the knowledge to use them, but guys like me are more likely to be on Canada's Worst Handyman, we need all the help we can get.

Indeed, something close to 1-2mm of play, though It was more of a wobble then a twist... if that helps :p

I have a big slot blade with a huge handle... should do the trick... if not I will use the other tools as mentioned.

Thanks!
