Hi Guys,

Could anyone give me some advice on how to unscrew a barrel on an Enfield Mk 111?.... when I replace the barrel would I have to use anything on the threads like lock tight?
Any help would be appreciated..,.

Thanks,

Terry

I would not use any locktite or such, in fact on the barrels I do I put anti-seize on them to prevent galling of the threads. If you only have one barrel to do it is more economical to take it to a gunsmith who has the correct action wrench and barrel vice than to purchase these tools and do it yourself, besides the barrel might not indicate properly and may need some adjustment.
