Does anybody know who the Canadian Importer or dealer is for Renato Gamba shotguns.
Have been looking at the Daytona online and would like to see if anybody sells them around these parts.

Italian Sporting Goods sells them in Vancouver They had a brand new one for sale last december.
European arms is if am not mistaken a distributor for Gamba but won't sell to individuals.

Contact Enrico Gamba directly. He is a very nice guy and his Gamba Girls are, well............... He will direct you to whomever will import it. He will also get your measurements for a proper stock. He lives not far from Lago di Garda, such a lovely area!

Thanks for the suggestions, I was more concerned about parts availability then actually finding the gun here in Canada. As jacpor stated, i could import one from the states, but replacement parts (should I end up needing them) would be my biggest concern with it.
If their are so few people dealing with Renato Gamba, is there a reason for it?
I see them pop up on the international trap circuit a fait bit, but there isn't a whole lot of information on them.

I haven't seen too many Gamba's around here neither in Washington state where I shoot NSCA tournaments. I knew 2 guys who were shooting them in BC. I think that European Arms had some parts for them. They are nice guns, but if they break, you may loose the gun for awhile. If you want to spend the money on a high end gun, I would definitely stick to guns that are more widespread and have good service and an easy access to parts. My honest opinion.

Thanks for the info, I was curious, as Gagnon Sports has an old Mono Trap and a Daytona Trap Combo for sale.

If you REALLY want a gamba, I'd take Henry's advice, that's how I got a fellow club member a new one after he lost his in a fire.

Personally I find them to be decent quality copies of perazzi's with a little of their own twist thrown in. They are reasonably well made, but I would never buy one.

I just bought one - well, it's MADE by Gamba, anyway!
It's a Mauser 496 single barrelled trap gun, very well balanced and made with precision.
Didn't get a chance to shoot it yet, but i sure will this weekend!

You can get just about anything except the "Gamba Girls" from Enrico, directly! Gamba shotguns are like boutique hotels: just special!

You have 3 Italian shotgun companies by th name of Gamba.
F.Ili. Gamba/ G.Gamba. not in production any more, factories closed in the 80's
and the famous and expensive Renato Gamba , similar to Perazzi Quality but not as reliable, very hard to get spare parts in Canada.
The Renato Gamba Daytona looks great , you can get them for aroud $5000 second hand ,but stay away from it because of the spare parts. The cost of a new Renato Gamba Daytona is very close to the price of a Perazzi MX8.
Better get a Perazzi or Beretta DT10/DT11, new or used.
