Years ago I bought a .22 Airforce Condor and have constantly modified it for .177, .20 before landing on .25. The .25 pellets I use are between 24 and 46 grain for controlling pests. This oil drum filled with aluminum shavings was easily penetrated with Eun Jin 28 grain round nose pellets. My furthest witnessed and range lasered gopher harvesting was 144 yards.
Blackworks provided a frame kit (M82 style) for my Condor that really strengthens the frame and with my larger capacity tank that has a regulator (thanks Voltar1) the whole rifle has been transformed to a great bench and stationary pest rifle. Using 24 grain .25 pellets at 930 fps I am well over 100 shots with a very flat string with no bell curve. The rifle is heavy and very consistent now with a great trigger using a air compressor to fill to 3000 psi is so much easier than a hand pump..
How it started:
Final build: stock tank
High capacity regulated tank:
Oil drum:
