Rental ranges in greater Vancouver

Hi everyone,

Looking to buy my first pistol. I've handled a few but would like to try firing before I make a purchase. Anyone know where I can rent a variety of 9mms? I was told about DVC in Port Coquitlam. Anyone know what there inventory is like? I'd really like to try a Beretta 92fs and CZ SP-01 Shadow.

Looks like DVC have the Beretta. If you look at their gun of the month it shows some of what they have.

The only other place that I know of where you can rent a firearms is Silver Core. This is only if you are taking a training course with them. http://www.silvercore.ca/courses

The inventory changes a little from time to time but you can bet on them having a dozen or more available at any given day. And last I was there both the Beretta and CZ Shadow were up for grabs.

The easy thing is to call them and ask. And while you're at it find out the quietest time to go. That way you won't have any issues with getting to try both fairly close together or even both on the bench at the same time so you can go back and forth. During the more busy times this just can't be done due to demand.

DVC has quite a selection, including a few cannon revolvers but their majority of firearms are ~9mm cal. Go in and shoot for ~$30. If you use their guns, you have to use (buy) their ammo but it's reasonable.

Call them up! They are super helpful. That's where I did my PAL and RPAL courses.
