repair chip on HS Precision stock?

Acra Glass colored with graphite (I'm presuming the stock is black).....apply it to the nick and put a piece of cellophane tape over it. Smooth it out with your finger and let 'er set up as per directions. Once hard, texture it with sandpaper to match the stock.....

If you want to have the exact same texture you can fashion a "texture pad" by softening a block of Parowax in medium hot water and pressing\tapping it on a nearby area of the stock (same curvature) to pick up texture.
Once you have filled your hole in the stock with Acraglass (just make sure you don't overfill it), press the textured block over it and tape it.
You don't need a release agent with Parowax.
When the Acraglass is set, remove the block and you"ll see the perfect print of your stock's texture reproduced on the surface.
If some of the wax is stuck to the surface, don't scrape it! remove it with very hot water and a toothbrush or heat from a hair dryer and a rag.
