Good Day;

My Dillon CV500 crapped out some time ago, ran well for many years, now barely shakes. Seems to be the motor. Apparently these are bathroom exhaust vent motors, but the trick is to find the right replacement for something Dillon put together many years ago. This seems to be a common issue with the older smaller tumblers that they sold. I have talked to Dillon and it is more expensive to get this fixed by them (updated mounts, new motor plus shipping and all the tax/duty/tariff issues we now face), than it is to buy a new one. So screw that plan. Anyone faced the same issue and found a solution to get this fixed?

Thanks,

Glockenspiel

Many many years ago I sent a fairly new Dillon tumbler back to them for warranty. They sent it back to me a cpl weeks later with a bag of black dog hair. Said I could possibly reattach them back on to black Lab. lol. Kinda funny. Good luck finding that motor. Might be easier just to buy another tumbler.

My big Lyman did likewise this winter. I used the part number off the motor to find another one online. Think it was 20-30 bucks. - dan
