I'm looking at a replacement set of sights for a 336 Marlin, I can't seem to find what height of the front sight. They seem to be sold from the .300's-.500. in size. The sight in mind is a MarbleArms BullsEye sight?????????

I went through the same thing when buying new sights for a Marlin 795. I called Williams sights directly and I have to say they were super friendly and helpful. If I were you I would try the same with Marbles. Actually I ended up with a Marbles rear and a Williams front sight.

Good luck

It's pretty easy to calculate the front sight height;

D = Movement of Impact point (in inches)
R = Target Distance (in yards)
S = Sight Radius (distance between front and rear sight, in inches)

(D / (R*36)) * S = M (in thousands of inches).

D is the distance needed to move the impact point to the desired place.
