replace mid-bead on shotgun

Hi,
what is the best way to remove the mid-bead on Browning and Remington shotguns?
I bought fiber-optic ones and want to replace the silver/steel ones.

they should be threaded, and spin right out

I have seen some mid beads that are just tapered.....if it pops right out when you try to unthread it, it likely has no threads and is just tapered.....

the replacement has no threads. I think the factory installed should be the same too.
I ll give it a try.
