Replacement AR Handguards Diemaco

Can someone explain the difference in AR handguards?

Specificaly when I look at photos of the C7 or C8, the front handguards seem to have a rough appearance, not smooth like the plastic commercial models and very dull in appearance. Almost like it is a fiberous material. Are these handguards mode of a different material, and if so, is there a commercial equivalent out there on the market for sale?

The CF hand guards have glass fibre injection molded into them to increase strength and heat resistance. Commercial versions often don't have this, they are straight nylon.

Armalite sells green hand guards. The color is close, but not exact. I was told by a guy at CC the trial C7A2 used them.
