Replacement butt stock help.

Use the right glue and prep carefully, you have one chance to do it right, getting a good bond after a failed attempt is near impossible. I like accraglass as it can be tinted to help hide the glue line but other adhesives will work as well.

For fresh crack preparation is pretty simple. None is required for the crack itself but for the repair. Regular white/yellow wood glue is stronger than the original wood. Get a lefty of surgical tubing and a syringe. If you know someone that is diabetic ask for a couple once used ones. Open the crack as much as possible and stick the needle in as far as you can the key is that you must fill the entire crack and a syringe is the o my way othe than reaming the stock completely and Gluck g. A k together which is better than trying to fix the. Crack and not getting the glue all the way in. When the crack is entirely full of glue wrap it tightly with the surgicall tubing and let set. Done right it will be stronger than new. Of course the syringe is single use.
