Replacement Grips for S&W 5946

Anyone aware if there is a company making a good replacement for the factory Smith 5946 grips? Already tried the Hogue 2 piece nylon and was not that thrilled with it. Anything from Pachmayer? I could not find anything other that the slip on type grips.

Suggestions welcome.

I've got a set of Farrar (Spelling??) grips on mine and like them fairly well. Similar contour as factory but a little tackier for a positive hold.

How big are your hands? I've got a set of Hogue rubber grips on my work gun, and they're doing fine 4 years and 7500rds later.

I'm kind of in between. The hogue is just a hair to large and the slip on is just a touch to small. Either way I can make do just fine, I just don't like the slip on as they seem to wear on the outside of the pistol, (rubbing up against things), then it seems to get loose over a while, (say about a year). I'm not crazy about the larger 2 peice Hogue, just a touch to big.

Neither situation is the end of the world, just looking for an alternative.

Where did you get the Farrar grips?? They show models for 5900 series with and without curved backstrap but no pics.

Can't find anyone in Canada that lists them.
