Replacement stock for 1600 Husqvarna

Wondering if anyone has re-stocked a Husqvarna 1600 with a Boyds stock? They don't list a small ring Husqvarna stock, and I'm wondering how much fitting would be required if I just ordered a Mauser small ring stock for it? Would the screws match up? Any guidance with this gratefully received!

Going off memory here, but aren't large ring and small ring different lengths between action screws? I've seen a few guys that bought large ring M98 stocks and then filled in the large ring gap with bedding compound.
