I ve got a 98 Mauser. The rifle is in decent shape except the stock is cracked. Is there any place I could order a replacement stock that looks like the original? I know there's lots of synthetic or sporter versions out there but I want something that looks authentic. Thanks.

Marstar.

Is the crack repairable??? I have seen some very ugly cracks and dents fixed up to the unnoticeable point by careful and patient work.

Lever Arms has them as well. These are all Yugo stocks and I picked through a lot of them personally at Tradex. To be frank, many of them are pretty beat up, cracked, altered, patched, etc. There are some nicer non-yugo examples on e-bay.

you can epoxy and pin yourself without too much trouble, and it will likely be stronger than a beat up old take off stock. Keep in mind, any of the retailers that have stocks and parts, these are most likely from rifles that couldn't be sold for one reason ro another and were cannibalized. The parts might not be in the best shape.

Try Ebay for a genuine German K98 replacement stock. There are Norwegian surrender stocks still available(not many) listed right now from US1945. The seller is a guy named Tommy in Holland and I have purchased a few from him and they were decent stocks.
