Replacing dual studs with a picatinny rail

Hi Folks,

I've got a B22 FV-SR on the way, and I would like to replace the pair of studs with a picatinny rail for use a bipod I've already got.

I was looking at this rail in the https: //mdttac.com/ca_en/picatinny-rail-with-qd-sling-cup.html one in the 5" length.

I would have to remove both studs, and drill new holes in the stock.

1 - Has anyone does this before, and what success did you have / tips can you offer

2 - What screws / jig / etc would I need to pull this off?

3 - Is there a better option that would not require modifications to the stock?

I don't know if this is what you have in mind. This might not be the best example, but there are picatinny rails that uses both studs.

This is the rail I found from MDT that include a QD cup.
