Replacing M14 Front Sight

I have a NM sight that I want to install instead of the stock Norinco front sight. How do I remove the Norinco sight and replace it with the NM one?

Extremely easy. Just loosen off the pinch allen key bolt, you might even be able to do it with your fingers, at worst slight taps. Total elapsed time, less than a minute (once you have the right tools to hand).

I removed the bolt but the sight is not moving. Do i need to tap off the front sight itself?

Yes! Make sure the bolt is all the way out.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that point of the bolt being all the way out. Yes, as long as it's out, you tap the sight with a brass drift, piece of wood, something non injurious, hitting it at the base/bottom. It'll come out.
