Hello

I'm working through my backlog of minor gun repairs and there's two small jobs I want to knock off. I have two single-shot shotguns: a Cooey M84 .410 and a Baikal IJ18 12ga. Both barrels are missing beads. Two questions:

- Where can I find beads for each of these? Are the threads universal or do I need a Baikal bead specifically?

- Do they just screw in or are they staked? How tight and what do you use to wrench them?

Neither gun is a collector's item so buying compatible after-market works fine for me but I'd like sources for original parts if you know of any.

Thanks.

The cooey is imperial, the other will be metric thread?
Any gubsmith shop in your area will know- take the barrel in
would be the best. I have made these, but better to buy the beads

If you replace these and dont get it flush with the inside of the barrel, when you send a slug through it, it will blow the bead off.
Dont know about the baikal, but the cooey is threaded. ive jsut treaded in a new one with red loctite and with the dremmil, touch the inside of the barrel up.
