Replacing sights on a Norc 1911 Commander

I've just received my new Norc 1911 Commander and after putting some rounds through it I have found that the sights are not the best. My question is can they be replaced with new aftermarket ones and how easy is this to do.

Humm. I found the sights to be a little better than USGI. Oh well, given the choice and budget, NOVAK "EXTREME DUTY" adjustable sight would be my choice. Both the front and rear have to be milled. Not cheap but high LCF
