If it was government funded there would be two pages of fluff!! But it may have been written by a civil servant trying to finish up before coffee break?!

I only started waterfowling myself after moving to Vancouver from the Island in the 80s. I was grumbling that the hunting season was so short after being successful big game hunting by the end of October and my wife said "why don't you take up duck hunting? I like to eat ducks."
"I don't have a shotgun," I replied.
So being an obedient husband I did. Went to a gun show and bought a used 870 and haven't looked back since.
Having a roast widegeon for dinner tonight actually.
