Quick question, and thanks in advance for those that know more about optics then myself.
I have seen a number of reproduction M1D Garands on sale in the EE, and was wondering a few things.
1) How does the Garands scope mount attach to the reciever? Is it a clamp on system, or does it have to be drilled and tapped?
2) What scope would be period accurate, and what would be a similar looking scope?
3) Where would I be able to get both of these items, the scope and the mount?
