The grey coating feels similar to Duracoat. Does anyone have both a VZ and something Duracoated grey that they could compare it to?
I've seen the threads about trying to remove the coating but I like the grey coating on my VZ, and I have some components that I want to match with it.
Any other ideas?

Thanks again for the responses guys. I contacted the nearest Cummins shop and they had got the paint in the next day for me. They were just under $9 per spray can.
I wanted to check how close the color match was so I used the paint on the blued muzzle thread protector.
The paint is not an exact match, but it's certainly close enough for me.

Here are a few "before" pics to show the original color on the protector before the painting:

So there is a bit of a difference in color, but for my needs it's more than good enough.

Thanks again for the help!

Yea keep in mind that every rifle seems to have a bit of a different shade. So that color may match someone elses rifle perfectly.

When I painted a folding stock with cummins bluke it came out a near perfect match.

The metal of the upper handguard on a newer wood stock set I just put on my rifle has a lighter shade of blue, closer to what's in your photos so I guess there can be some variance in color between rifles.

I just had my order with my muzzle brake and spare parts kit come in. The painted brake looks good.
I have ordered the OKO sight, steel cover, and mounting handguard from Double Tap. Once they arrive the metal on the handguard, and possibly the steel cover (still haven't made up my mind on that one) will get it as well. The color is close enough for me.
