Request fro TonyBen: How to check oprod to see if its bent?

With all your excellent videos, is it possible to put something up on how to check your oprod to see if it is bent or not. Something joe average can do on his reloading bench.

use 2 straight edges and look for parallelism between arm and tube.... or lack thereof
a video would show it better

So an Oprod would typically only bend in one plain?

I'll give it a shot. I have to do an operating rod fitting video anyways (rounding the top edges for the dismount notch) and I'll try and address bent rods at the same time. I don't have a bent one but I have had to bend one in the past and it was tilted up. I had to put the arm in a vise and pull down on the tube to get it in alignment. It was good side to side.

It may take me some time to get it done though. I have bedding and cleaning videos in the queue.
