I thought I'd post in the Action Shooting forum as I'm new/returning to the shooting sports, and am hoping to get involved in some competition.

I've recently moved to the lower mainland, and was curious if anyone might have a recommendation for an optermetrist that's shooter-friendly and knowledgeable about the requirements of handgun shooters.

I've worn contacts for years, and would be open to glasses if there was a benefit - since coming back to shooting I've noticed my eyes are indeed older than they once were and my sight picture leaves something to be desired.

Any info would be appreciated!

You should look at contact lenses with wavefront technology. These would be custom lathed soft contact lenses. I work in the lens industry.

Here's a manufacturer in the USA-

I also deal with the designers of this lens in the UK

Ask your eye care professional to check them out for you
