Require Assistance Finding a Rifle Please

I'm more into the military surplus firearms first off.
But I've been tossing the idea around in my head to pick up a good .223 Rem gun.
I know almost nothing at all about modern hunting arms.

I'm looking for these specific features:

-Must shoot .223 Rem up to 62 gr (1:9 at least I'm assuming but 1:7 would be sweet)
-bolt action
-removable magazine, minimum 5 rounds
-Most important it has to have iron sights with scope mount ability obviously.
-Relatively inexpensive ie less than $500 preferably.

Those are the parameters I'm looking for.
Is there a common firearm that matches all or most of them? Any help from you more experienced and knowledgeable in this area would be greatly appreciated.

You can easily have everything on that list, minus the sights. Unfortunately iron sights have mostly gone the way of the dodo bird.

Savage has the 11/111 Hog Hunter listed at $560 MSRP. 20" and 1:9". The only other centerfire, iron sighted rifle they offer is the 116 Alaskan Brush Hunter in .338 WM and .375 Ruger.

Cz 527. They can be had in .223, 1:9 twist, iron sights. Really nice stock options and very accurate too.

There's another one though, 24" medium weight barrel, iron sights, no manlicher stock. Unless they're rare also. But CZ goes over OPs preferred budget. An older Remington BDL? Probably wont find 1:9 twist though...

I don't like scopes personally, I only shoot irons. I'm sure when I get older and my eyes start to go I'll have to scope the old rifles.
What about Savage? I know they used to offer varmint style rifles with back up irons?

As I previously mentioned, Savage only has two centerfire rifles in their lineup that have iron sights. Those are the Hog Hunter and the Alaskan Brush rifles, though only the Hog Hunter has a .223 chambering.

I didn't get to shoot it before my SIL got it from me. Good plan cuz he pays for it and I still get to play with it. I'd rather that rifle than a mini14.

I've been looking into the Hog Hunter.
It's pretty highly regarded/reviewed, can't find too much negative on it other than the standard "crappy" savage stocks (flimsy apparently or something) and people typically but foolishly expecting a $500 gun to be a $1000 gun......

It's light, medium contour barrel 20", has iron sights! , 1 in 9 for shooting heavier loads, relatively cheap, accutrigger, can mount a bi-pod and apparently quite accurate.

I owned a 200 Savage in .223 a few years back, the thing shot like a demon, even with the "crap" savage stock on it I was pulling sub MOA at 100 meters with a cheap bushnell scope seated at a bench with no rest and factory ammo right out of the box lol

Apparently these new Savage rifles can be inletted relatively easily to fit detachable magazines ast they feed from staggered magazines as opposed to the old "in line" feed models. Can anyone attest to this?

I may have to bypass this feature as much as I would like to have it
