My rifle this year is a 32-20 Winchester Miroku TD.
Next year I want to start a left hand bolt rifle build. The goal is a solid dependable working rifle in a centerfire hunting rifle of medium power and cast bullet friendly. All form follow function in wood and steel. Cartridge choice will follow action length found.
Some of the lefty actions on the shelf today are not what I want due to fit and finish, plastic parts, stamped sheet metal etc.
What older left hand action would old time lefty's pick? What new action would you pick? I'm hoping for a rifle that would turn up eventually or regularly in the used market in Canada.
Are the Win 70 lefties nice?
What about some of the old Euro actions?
How about early Rem and Sav actions?
The new Tikka?
The little 520 series from CZ?
