Reserved my papoose today

It's been nearly 4 months since I owned a gun. I felt cold and empty inside. In a way that no center fire could truly cure. So, I had a Marlin model 70PSS "Papoose" put aside for me today. I guess this thing will have a 22 style scope groove on top. Hmm... I'm thinking Bushnell red dot. A couple of 10 shotter clips, nylon sling with quick detach swivels. Already comes with a soft case. Should be pretty sweet.

things to remember

Take this with a grain of salt guys .. it is just my experience.
Subsonic and target ammo does not cycle well .. the Papoose loves CCI minimags!
The rings you mount on the dovetail must be steel and well made, the mount tends to slide with the recoil (what recoil?) on the aluminum receiver. Check rimfirecentral.com for tips from the Yanks regarding that. Other than that .. it is a kick ass, relatively accurate, fun little rifle. Will never sell it.

I picked one up too

I just picked one up today as well. I'll try it out on Wednesday. It seems the perfect size to put in the ATV storage rack/seat. One less gun boot to mount. The grouse are in for it this year, again.

The digital is not working (bent one card pin). It's the standard Synthetic stock and stainless barrel with the red front sight. Nice case too.
