Resize Shotgun Brass?

I don't believe it's necessary. Several years ago the resizer on my MEC 9000 started acting up so I disconnected it with the intention of eventually getting it fixed. I continued using the loader in the interim and my shells have worked fine. I have yet to get the resizer fixed and probably never will.

I`ve never had the need to resize my 12ga brass shotshells....They work fine in my cowboy sxs shotgun, and they fall out easily after shooting....Just use mild loads....

I have found that I can usually get away with not doing it, but I always do it anyway. For one thing my presses do it pretty automatically. But I have also caught the brass on a couple of unsized Federal cases while inserting reloads into my Citori...pita, and I have found some cases to be a bit tight. So why annoy myself, especially in a match.

There is generally no need to size them if you are going to fire them in the same gun. If you have more than one gun you will be best served by fully sizing your shells to minimize interchangeability issues.
