I just finished necking some 308 brass up to 358. Now the case mouths are not square. If I trim them back so they are square, the cases are significantly shorter than spec (1.990" instead of 2.005).
Can I reload and shoot them as they are or should I trim them square and use them too short, or junk the whole works?
I think it is the expander in the Lee 358 die that is not quite true that caused it, one side of the mouth hits first.
