Resizing a Rossi ranch hand lever

I recently bought a ranch hand and hate the large lever. Does anyone know of a shop near Vancouver that can cut it down and weld it?

If a small loop replacement is available, it would probably be way cheaper to buy the replacement than to mess with the original.

I can't find one anywhere. It looks like a simple job to cut and weld.

I ended up going to a local welding shop and having them resize it, cost all of $40.

I did the same thing. I phoned rossi usa who informed me there could be upto a 4 year wait to have a new lever sent my way. Also it would require gunsmithing. I need mine blued and it will be good to go. Now to do the sights.

I sent my gun off to be Cerakoted, when it gets back I'll post a picture of the lever. Mine is similar to the one posted above, about 2/3 of the size it was, I intend to leather wrap it.
