Just remove the decapping pin and resize.
I have resizes loaded .44-40 cartridges, loaded with black powder and lead bullets.
I coat the cartridge with Lee's resizing lube and wipe it off afterwards.
Yup, I've done this "post-sizing" to iron-out bulges from things like loading 158 grain .358" bullets in 9mmP.
This only works well with lead bullets, jacketed bullets, especially in bottleneck cases will tend to crush.
