With one of my wildcats I used to be able to thread the die in until it touched the shell holder and then turn it in another 1/8th turn to get desired crush...
Now, to get similar crush I'm having to thread the die in a FULL turn!
The cases are trimmed to length!
Perhaps the cheap $45 Lee press is wore out???
Another problem I'm encountering which maybe leading to this is...why when I screw the die down tight to the shell holder, lube a case and run it thru I can see space approx 1/16th between the shell holder and bottom of die...take the case out run the shell holder back up and it'll touch the shell holder?????????????????
Any ideas?
