Last American Rifleman magazine had an article on big game doubles.
They were starting at around 10,000 if I remember correctly.

AHR, Wayne can get you into a 600 OK (over kill) for around $8k U.S.
The guy who invented the 600 OK, got above 2700 fps, with 750 grain bullets.
Saeed's flying 577 T-Rex was launching them at 2530 fps, to acheive the videos results.
Poor stock design is said to be the reason that the 577 kicks so much.

Saeed stated that he wanted to tone down some arrogance of a few shooters, or just have a laugh at their expence.
