Re: On a Honey Bair 12 Ga. Shotgun Press: Re obtaining a perfect fit between the Bushing Bar to the top of the Powder Hopper.
After taking the Hopper Base off, it seems to me the Gap problem could be easily overcome by machining a slightly taller plastic Ring fitting into the underside of the Powder Hopper. This Plastic spacer would then wear itself via the sliding action of the Bar to a perfect +/- Gap.
Note: On the Honey Bair, a 155 Thou thick Rubber Seal with the propper OD may do the Trick too.
Non should be needet on the Shot side becouse even the smallest Shot could not escape through the existing Gap.
Therefore if you ever have such propblem with your Honey Bair Press this may be a solution you may want to consider.
A Member told me original Honey Bair Powder Bushings where made from Copper, this is likely the route I will take.
Anyone with Diagrams and/or other info where to obtain parts in Canada, please feel free tho chime in !
Thanks
