restoring cob media????

Throw it away.

There is no best way to clean corn cob. That's the point. You don't clean it you throw it away after it absorbs or is contamined with all that grime. Its just not worth the effort to clean it.
Corn cob is still cheap. You can use a new batch until it is dirty then just replace it with new...

I have had godd success with the Lyman liquid re-charge liquid. Just a little cap full in a full bowl, tumble for an hour and let dry. The corn cob is black but it buffs the brass well.

Also because of the mess with tumbling Iam always adding a bit more new corn media to the mix so topping up the mix with fresh liquid is not always needed.

Most stores carry the liquid. $10 a bottle and it will last you for years.

This is what I do, it rejuvenates it pretty damn good.

i just got some of the plastic beads that some of the members were talking about a while back and find they work very nice and can be cleaned up and reused.
