My Dad has an old Weaver K4 that he has had for as long as I can remember. It is probably 40 years old and kind of showing its age. There are a lot of "spots" on the inside, and the outside has a lot of "dings" and finish wear.
Does anyone know where you can get a scope re-done? Would that be something that Weaver does? I know that a new one is not expensive, but this one has a lot of sentimental value.

TIA.

Bill Ackerman can blue print it for ya', does WEAVER scopes, mostly T series

We can blueprint the scopes for you. A "blueprint" is a complete overhaul, cleaning, updateing to current design specs, dumping some of Weavers cost cutting attempts, and in general, a 100,000 round check up. The cost is $85.00, plus $12.00 return shipping and insurance. If the interior glass is real bad, and has been for a long time, it may in fact be etched. A good cleaning is all that can be done, as lenses cannot be recoated, at least not for a cost short of a new Lear jet.

As for the MIL dot reticle. We can build them but I'd rather have a root canal. Now , that said, if all you want is some windage and bullet drop dots, that's different. Just tell me where you want them (in MOA). The Cost is $60.00 plus $10.00 per dot.

Turnaround is normally 2-4 weeks depending on the workload and the weather. MAIL the scopes to: Optical Services Co. P.O.Box 1174 Thanks, Bill Ackerman Santa Tersea, NM. 88008
