Restricted Hunt Group HG12 shorty

Anyone here have hands-on experience with the Hunt Group HG12 short semi-auto 12ga?
No experience with this one, but the Americans have access to a number of birds head pistol grip semi auto shotguns. You can find numerous videos on the youtubes about them and how they are to shoot. I would agree with Painkillers that buying any restricted firearm at the moment seems unwise at best.

This channel has lots of videos on how to use them without hurting yourself: https://www.youtube.com/@demonstratedconceptsllc4918

Looks like a colossal POS.
Sorry, had to say it.
Thanks for sharing that keen observation and insight.

This was very helpful, thank you. I have been hesitating for a while, still am now. TR-410 is truly what I am waiting for.

Don't register anything bro. If there is a full stocked version that's NR, look at that one. Then, and only then, if you choose to source a birdshead or pistol grip and install it and request for a recertification, that's always an option. 'Cause, you know, to just put the grip on the piece making it restricted and not informing the RCMP would be a problem...if you were ever caught with it. ;)

You realize being a semi auto the barrel length doesn't meet the NR threshold for length.

Perhaps I'm wrong...I thought 26" OAL=NR. To use a ridiculous analogy, a long gun (12 ga in this instance) is NR if it has a 25" stock and a 1.1" barrel, or a 25" barrel and a 1.1"stock. While 26" meets the threshold, going over is insurance against a sloppy measurement.

Semi auto shotguns fall under semi auto centerfire rules. Under 18.5 is restricted regardless of OAL.
