Restricted sales

I've heard that in order to purchase a restricted firearm from a gun store you need a restricted license (obviously) and you must show documentation proving you are a member of a gun club. I know that you are legally only allowed to discharge a restricted weapon on a certified range but is it true that a gunstore will not sell to you unless you are a member?

Nevermind, got the answer I was looking for.

"...got the answer..." It say you need to be a club member for the CPFO to do the transfer? Most retailers will sell to you and hold the gun until you sort out your permits etc.
