Hello I am hoping to upgrade my SkS, I have heard that a firearm can only possess 3 characteristics of a restricted firearm, (semi auto, folding stock, bayonet, muzzle break? etc......)

is this true?
I was hoping to take off the Bayonet, put a black T6 Stock with (Picatinny rail handguard), muzzle break, recoil buffer, holographic sight, Tri Rail Receiver Cover Mount, rubber buttpad and sling.

doing all this, will the SKS still be classified as non resticted?

Thanks!

yes, you can do all this to your non-rest and still be class as non-rest cos your overall length will be 66cm or more.

There was a "tanker" apparently produced for the american market but it never took off.

This might be from a dubious source. I know Zefarm sold one a while back. I had a look at it but can't remember much else about it.
