This may be a stupid question but what exactly is the process for purchasing firearms over the equipment exchange ?
1) make deal with seller
2) send $ and your info (RPAL, address, etc)
3) seller calls CFC to initiate
4) seller gives you reference number
5) you call CFC will reference number and complete application
6) your Provincial CFO completes their checks and approves. If you're in BC they'll do this and email you the transfer usually within a day; if you're in Ontario you provide your lube of choice and wait a loooooooooong time
7) the buyer and seller are notified it's approved
8) seller calls CFC to get a STATT to mail. Thanks to the Conservatives and C42 this silly step can be skipped as of Sept 2...
9) seller ships, signature required, via Post. Some sellers are lucky and have access to couriers instead. Seller sends you a tracking number.
10) Canada Post delivers your firearm. If you miss the delivery you need to call for a STATT to pick up at the post office. Again, this step apparently ends Sept 2. Libtards and Dippers claim the world ends that day too...
11) you wait for Miramichi to send your registration certificate.
12) you can now go to the range!
Of course, gangbangers don't shop on the EE, and aren't subject to these rules. They just go to the nearest bar and buy illegal smuggled handguns and wreak havoc upon us!!
