Hi there. Recently bought my first handgun and would like to go to the range on the week-end. I have my range membership, ATT and buyers transfer notification with the new registration number, firearm id number etc, but have not received my registration certificate yet. Is it legal for me to transport the gun with these papers, or do i have to wait for the actual registration card?

Be a good Idea to keep the store transport notification with registration until you get the registration certificate other than that your good to go. Have fun.

ATT is valid for all approved ranges in b.c. and yukon, so i'm good there. Hoping the new cert will be here by friday, but sounds like i'm ok with what papers i have now. Thanks

Buyer notification is proof that you're the holder of a valid registration certificate. Technically, you must use your STATT to get the firearm home and your LTATT to get the firearm from your home to the range and back.
