Restricted transport

and that why you should wait, it's not the CFO that will be inspecting your paperwork on the roadside. Not worth the hassle.

Before September, I know when I got a pistol at the LGS, I had to get a SATT to bring it home, even though my LTATT was good till 2018

That's because your LTATT only granted permission from your residence to an approved range. Going from the store to your residence wouldn't have been covered.

Strange. I am in B.C.. I have always asked for them to email me all the documents. I just print them and go. Doesn't everyone do that?

Kevin

SK CFO has told me (twice, since I tried calling for a better answer LOL) that I need the Reg Cert before transporting to the range. Even tho it was attached to my RPAL and my ATT was in place and I had the notice of transfer.

Yes, it kills me to wait for the registration certificate, but I don't want any hassle *IF* something should happen on the way to/from the range (90+ km one way) and I don't have it with me.

Nor would the SK CFO email me anything, I had to wait for snail mail to arrive :(

Lol and when I asked the other day when talking to them after verifying a transfer was complete she said I was good to go with just the transfer sheet.... love how everyone is on the same page..

Just out of curiosity, for all the people who say that they wait for the actual Reg Cert and don't use the Transfer Notice, are you saying that you don't bring your new gun home till you get the Reg Cert?

Regardless of what the answers are here, perfect time to let the wife know - YOU are right.

Great fun choice btw and even better to have 2 although we may need pics!!

No. Statt and notice of transfer to bring it home from the store, ltatt and actual registration for the first range trip.

Just call the local CFO and ask them to email you the paperwork.
I've never had to wait for my papers in the mail. They should have no problem emailing it to you then you can just print it off and carry that until the official one shows up.

Well my wife's came in the mail tonight. Mine is still MIA.

This has earned me the nickname "bullet boy" because she thinks i will be loading her mags at the range tomorrow.
