One requires a valid Authorization To Transport (ATT), which will come with stipulated conditions. (If you re-read your ATT, you'll see the conditions.) If you aren't certain that your ATT covers your intended activity, you can contact your provincial firearms office for help in obtaining another (applicable) ATT.
