how does one sell a restricted weapon? i mean once someone has paid for it on here does the seller call CFC and what is the proceduer? i know its a dumb question but i am new to this. thanks

Call the CFC and initiate the transfer. Pass on the reference number to the buyer and let him complete the transfer. Once it has been approved (anywhere from one day to ????) you will be contacted, at which point you can get your temp ATT to transport to the post office.

Seller call to initiate the transfer

Buyer calls with ref. # to confirm info

Seller gets ATT when transfer goes through, ship gun

Canadians are not allowed to own "weapons". It is very clear in nearly all components of the Criminal Code. We are however permitted to possess FIREARMS if we meet all of the requirements of the Firearms Act.

By refering to firearms as weapons you're feeding the liebral bull####/media bias.

 I don't know about you, but alot of my "firearms" are most definatly "weapons" and I don't care who knows it.

Just don't tell anyone you can form a fist with your hand that can be a weapon and you have no license or ATT for the fists... :bangHead:

Restricted weapon is not just political language, it is the precise legal term for the object in question.

You shouldn't fault someone because they choose to use the proper legal term when asking a legal question.

Restricted weapons ought to be shipped the same was as assault rifles and machineguns. Make sure to remove the barrel shroud first. If you're shipping armor-piercing-heat-seeker-tracers then make sure to unload the weapon. Bullpup machineguns are prohibited, naturally.

Follow these rules and you are off to the races.

I don't believe shooting someone makes it weapon, because accidental discharges may happen with firearms.

Its the intent of the person who possesses the firearm which determines whether or not its a weapon. (ie, if I intend to use my firearm to hurt someone, then it becomes a weapon, the same applies to knives, fists, objects, etc.)
