reticles - which ones are useful and which ones are crap?

Been hunting for about 30 years now and it's not the reticle in low light that matters, for me it's the objective size that matters in low light.

with the fine crosshair it's still possible to lose the reticule even with a 50-60mm lens- try this if your spotting scope has a reticule- i've done it-there's no point in taking the shot if you have no referance point
