Return Of the Sako Finnfire 2

Sako are reintroducing the Finnfire. I always really like the original, But could not find one before they were discontinued.

I wonder how much it will be priced in Canada?

I personally think the P04 series rifles would be way more popular if Sako didnt so radically change the syling of the stocks and use so much plastic. While they are not using the P94 actions on these the more traditional stock and the metal bolt handle is a welcome change.

Very true. I wonder if they will be up to the same standard as the old Finnfire? I looked at the Quad but like you did not appreciate the plastic including the bolt handle.

I purchased instead an Anschutz 1416 DHB which is a lovely rifle. I also think Anschutz quality is not what it was. I had to send mine back for ejector issues and although they know of the issue with the extractors, are still sending out rifles with this problem.
