Anyone aware of good online resources/tutorials (or perhaps gunsmiths in the Winnipeg MB area) to do these? I’ve seen some YouTube for various Benelli such as Super Black Eagle, and also Supernova, but I’m wondering about some others such as the R1 rifle or M4 shotgun, also the ruger 10/22.

I managed to reverse my Supernova, and a quick function test with snap caps indicates it still works and cycles as it should. I’ve started google-fu for the 10/22 and it appears it’s not as simple as just turning it around 180° like with the Supernova. I heard the Supernova isn’t very user friendly as a DIY, so I’m kind of feeling encouraged since I was able to do it, lol.

If your wondering. Ruger is releasing a LH 10/22...

I was aware and debated to get one, but when I saw the Magpul takedown backpacker model during the recent Black Friday sales I decided to get that one instead (I’m used to shooting right handed firearms for the most part). Maybe they’ll also release left hand BX trigger groups with reduced pull weight, so when/if I upgrade that (I read that the trigger is a desirable upgrade), I can do it as a 2 for 1 deal, but if it’s possible to switch it in the interim, I may look into that.

You can't just reverse the safety of a 10/22. Volquartsen used to sell 10/22 LH safeties, but no longer do.
Sylvestre Sports had some in stock when I last bought from them. They didn't list them in stock; but a phone call confirmed they still had some. This was 6 or 8 months ago. Worth a call.

Snapshots who is the ruger warranty centre in Canada has the left handed safeties, I just got a couple for less than $10 each, give them a shout

Shooting a right handed 10-22 left handed is just plain stupid... if you are wearing safety glasses a little less stupid. The gun may be pretty reliable but not all ammo is all of the time...
