Review on the Holosun 510C

Yes I also have the HS510C with nothing bad to report, in fact it seems to be the best bang for the buck I've seen in quite some time. Dare I say better than my Vortex, Bushnell and Burris. I find it easy to use and of excellent quality construction. 100% satisfied

Love mine. Only gripe is lack of markings on adjusters. Easily figured out.
$50 more than my Sparc AR it replaced and while the Sparc was great to me the always ready, auto adjusting brightness, Eotech reticle and larger cleaner sight picture of 510C takes the win.

Just got mine yesterday. Haven't been to range with it yet but first impression is I'm very impressed. Solidly built, not really black, the raw titanium hood gives it a nice gray look. The reticle is so crisp, nothing like the blurry eotech reticle. Tight fitting, intuitive quick release mount. Comes nicely packaged , very professional.

I'm very happy with this purchase so far. Let's hope it doesn't disappoint at the range.

Anyone know what would make this a better or worse choice compared to the Aimpoint Micro-like Holosun models with circle dot reticles? Some of the Micro models are cheaper than this, and they're lighter.

510C's main advantage is field of view?

I noticed Canada Ammo who used to carry it don't have that model only one much more expensive.. the 510C's used to be pretty affordable as I remember..

The Holosun is about $400 give or take, the Aimpoint micro's are $6-700 as far as I can see? If you like the Aimpoint micro, might want to compare it to the Holosun 515cu, same 65moa circle and 2moa dot as the Aimpoint, the Holosun is a very nice optic for the money, 50,000hr battery life, solar power cell also, auto on feature, just got the wife one, she loves it

Yeah I'm comparing the 515cu to the 510c and trying to figure out the differences. It seems the 510c has a bigger, square field of view and a little heavier.
