Reviews on the Savage accu-trigger

Just Big Redds Opinion.... :beerchug:
I don't dislike the accutrugger... I just find it feels wierd and distracts me. I have shot many different calibers with the accutrigger and I just fail to be impressed that is all.JBRO.;)

2 things annoy me about the accutrtigger. First is the safety blade. It didn't really used to bother me before, but it does now. No matter, it's easy to remove. The other thing is lack of an overtravel adjust. I hate overtravel. IMHO, trigger swing should stop as soon as the sear releases, not continue on for 1/16" or whatever. Some accutriggers have no overtravel, some do.

I have one in 204...I love it

My next rifle will be a savage so I can get another one of thoes trigers.

I shot it with an older friend (85) who is a gunsmith and avid shooter (I am 32) he could not get the hang of it at all..there was other people there and they loved it.

LOLOL................Tell him to put his finger on it and PULL!:p

They work okay, so I can take them or leave them, but really like a good single set trigger, myself.
That being said, the Cajar single stage on my son's Sportco is a fantastic piece of equipment, as are the triggers on my Anschutz rifles, bot are two stage.

I love mine now (on 10FPLE2B) that I messed with it. It just was not light enough, it would not go under 3lbs pull so I managed to put a different spring in there.

I have a Riflebasix unit in a Savage 17HMR that I like better but I guarantee it is not as safe as the Accutrigger.

I like the Accu-Trigger. I own a 114 American Classic in 3006. Took a few to get used to it, but I can say I honestly like it. No creep, very crsip release.
